Online privacy is a right, a right we are slowly loosing thanks to big corporations and the government controlling the internet, corporations offering free online services in exchange of knowing about you to sell you stuff, thanks to more and more websites logging lots of information about where your are, your IP and ultimately who you are. Besides those corporations will no doubt provide any information to any of the security forces on request.

If you want to find out how to preserve your privacy this workshop might be of your interest. We will be learning how to keep your emails private, how to browse the internet anonymously as well as having a good overview of privacy on the internet. We hope you will walk away having better understanding of what encryption is and how to use it for email and general internet browsing as well knowing how to browse the internet and leave no trace. We will be looking at some tools like: aktivix, riseup, crabgrass, tor, tails, private vpn etc…

If you want to get yourself setup to send encrypted email to friends, please make sure you have a riseup or aktivix account or have Thunderbird already setup for your email.

Sunday 2:30 at Kebele. 14 Robertson Rd.

We are starting a new yoga class on Mondays evenings (7 to 8:30) as well as the long running yoga class we have on Wednesday evenings. Our yoga class on Wednesdays (7 to 8:30) has been an Ayanga based yoga practise where we also mix some asanas and practices from Vinyasa/Hatha. The new class on Mondays will be more on the Vinyasa/Hatha style but it can change if the comers prefer something else. All levels will be welcome. We will adapt the class for beginners with easy archivable asanas and provide more advance alternative for the more experienced practitioners. Also, please speak to the teacher if you have some specific health issue or any injuries and we’ll give advice on those particular matters.

We encourage everyone to try yoga, practising with us or anywhere else. The benefits are instantaneous, more energy, more vitality, more flexibility, balance, well being… Do not doubt to get in touch with any questions or just pop along any Monday or Wednesday. The class is free although donations towards Kebele are welcome and needed to keep the place running.
