KEBELE GENERAL MEETING SUNDAY 25th APRIL

This quarterly meeting is the long-term decision making body that oversees and directs the Kebele Co-Op, who carry out the decisions, and the day-to-day running of Kebele.

This is anarchy in action, but it needs your involvement to work! The meeting is open to anyone who uses the building and has an interest in it’s future.

The meeting will take place from 3pm to around 6pm, with a cake and tea break in the middle.

The first half of the meeting will be structured – a presentation on consensus decision making, and then reports from the co-op:

-  A general report of what it has done in the 3 months since the last GM

- A report on the finances of Kebele.

- Proposals from the Co-Op on what its focus should be for the next 3 months.

All of these will be debated and questioned by the GM.

The Co-Op will also ask all User Groups to prepare reports to put in a User Groups and Collectives Update, with printed copies in the cafe and library, and a copy put on this website. The Co-  Report will also be posted on the website, before the meeting.

After a break, the second half of the meeting will be more of a discussion, in smaller groups or one big one, depending on the subject and the number of people at the meeting. This is where the ‘Big Ideas’ are debated, and the long term direction of the project is decided.

Please try and make it, Kebele is trying to be a genuine experiment in anarchist organisation, and we need you to be involved to make it work. See ya there!
