Library

Kebele Radical Library

For everything from aardvark to xylophone with a bit of Kropotkin and Emma Goldman thrown in, enquire within at the Kebele Library. Kebele’s collection specialises in radical politics including anarchism, gender politics, environmentalism, alternative culture, anti-racism and international solidarity. There is also a fiction section, some general reading and some children’s books. There are several hundred items available for loan for free. Donations of up-to-date books in good condition and with a libertarian/alternative approach are particularly welcomed.

Opening Times
To view the collection, come and visit when Kebele is open – Sunday cafĂ© nights, Saturdays during Infoshop and Wednesdays during the Bike Workshops. Planning ahead, we hope to set up a reading group in the near future and are aiming to list the collection online. Watch this space for further developments.

Get Involved!
There is no library collective at the moment, altho we do have a few brave souls who sort the books every so often! Would you like to get involved in maintaining and developing the radical library? Then get in touch at kebelesocialcentre@riseup.net
