Real alternative music

The Kebele Sound Collective is dedicated to presenting music as part of the alternative(s). Our present remit encompasses the open mic night, benefit gigs and, depending on demand, jam sessions.
The benefit gigs seek to expand beyond the activist/punk niche to create a diversity of style and audience, all attending the event for its own sake. Funds and awareness generated will be additional bonuses.

Opening times
Open Mic: first Friday of every month from 8pm
Bring your own talent, instruments, poems, jokes, booze...there is often cake...

Get involved!
We are a newly forming collective and are very interested in your input and any skills you might have. Sound engineers are most welcome, plus musicians, enthusiasts, and anyone willing to help out with all the duties associated with gigs. If you get animated discussing anti-folk, bounce, klezmer, northumbrian pipes, or northern soul, etc... there is probably a place for you to get engaged.
Come and talk to Theo during Open Mic night or email theo.riley@googlemail.com
